Ron Chouinard When Ron’s not fence building or spending time with his family, he is out on the boat fishing. A former High School State Champion wrestler, Ron brings the same levels of dedication and commitment to the fencing business. “Here at L&C, we focus on making the equipment that help people be more productive.”
Kevin Sodermark “I’ve got 49 problems, a Super Bowl ring isn’t one of them.” As a lifelong 49ers fan, Kevin knows what it takes to be a champion. While not in the office or field, Kevin enjoys traveling and family time.
Diane Rhode Diane enjoys celebrating the high-quality of UP life with friends and family. Her passions include photography of the Northern Lights and our beautiful Upper Michigan. When Diane is not working and playing, she is a loving cat-mom. “She believes that, “a cat has nine lives – 3 for playing, 3 for straying and 3 for staying.”
Allen Nault “I was lucky enough when it came to sports and work ethic to be taught some basics that continue to be important.” Allen is L&C’s stalwart product and service advocate. An integral part of the team, Allen spends his away time visiting family downstate and on walks with his dogs around the Kipling area.


Matthew Clifton Matty is the right-hand of the L&C Enterprises-USA machine. His diligent and steadfastness helps keep straight the shipping, receiving and chaos of a multifaceted, dynamic fencing hardware company. “Work like a captain, play like a pirate.” Matty likes to fish, camp and hike when he is not in the office.
Robert Lee Robert brings multiple years of manufacturing, trades and skilled labor best practices and experience to the operation. “What lies behind us & what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.” Off the clock, Bob enjoys spending time with his daughter, fishing and hunting.
Aaron Deiter A champion for, “The stuff that dreams are made of.” When not working, Aaron enjoys movies, volunteering, books, the science fiction and film noir genres, hiking and backcountry camping in crazy places like Machu Picchu. His true love is his Siamese cat, Lady Googles.
Nick Johnson One of the newest L&C staff, Nick knows, “Quality is everyone’s responsibility.” While not on the clock, Nick enjoys the benefits of life in Upper Michigan. Experienced in manufacturing, precision and assembly, Nick’s hard work and dedication has helped solidify L&C’s consistent high-quality product production.


Connor PascoeA recent college graduate, Connor joined the L&C team in the Summer of 2023. He enjoys playing guitar, classic rock-n-roll music and video games. While at the shop, Connor helps with logistics, production, packaging and marketing. Connor’s motto is, “there is no traffic jam on the extra mile.”
Norman Parish Superbowl-Shuffling Norm, moved to the UP in 2001 from Chicago to follow his dream to see a real black bear. “To know you’re close to the end is a kind of freedom. Good time to take… inventory.” Quoted from Norm’s favorite video game and one of his mantras. Away from the office, Norman spends time with his family and enjoys movies.

Austin Solis Gladstone HS Senior & UP Champion Wrestler, Austin joins the L&C Team as Summer help & trade skills development. When not wrestling, he enjoys family, friends & fishing. “If your concentration is getting bad, take up fishing. It will improve your ability to focus. If you aren’t ready when that fish hits, you can’t set the hook.”
